My first computer was a Tandy Systems TRS-80.
My dad put me in front of one with a book of basic programs, a few 5 1/4 floppy disks, and said go for it. I never really put those basic programs into the computer. I did what was the equivalent of psuedo code in BASIC. which is probably not as bad as I think it was now looking back, but I was also maybe 8 or 9 so there is that.
Most of my life I tried to learn Programming, took the available classes in high school, and then tried to do so in Community College...
Yea...
I stopped doing well academically after High School so I joined the Air Force looking for something to help me find what I was meant to be. Six years later and experience as a weather forecaster and observer I was a civilian again and not much of a good one at that. So I tried civilian life working at Dell for a while as an XPS tech support agent back when they still had that. Also went back to the community college route once again... didn't do any better that time either.
And I still love computer type stuff. I also like other types of things like photography and a few other things.
So I decided I would share my desires and enjoyment here.
And maybe finally actually finally start learning to code C and C++ after over 20 years.
